I browsed online to look for the website of the Links of London Jewellery store because my friend told me it’s the best place to get charm bracelets. I decided to check it out and see for myself. When I found the website, I was impressed with the beautiful silver charms they had. I wanted to have a charm bracelet so I checked the price of each charm to see how much I needed to save for. When I saw the price, I was disheartened to know that it was too expensive for me. It would take me months just to afford all the charms I want and the bracelet. I figured I’ll never be able to afford it so decided to look for other websites that sold cheaper charm bracelets.

As I was about to close the window with the Links of London website, my mom suddenly came up behind me and asked me what I was looking at. I told her I was just looking at charm bracelets I’ll never be able to afford. She asked me to show her the website. As she browsed through the web pages, she said she’d buy one for me. I was surprised when she said that. I asked her what made her want to buy a charm bracelet for me. She said that I deserved getting a charm bracelet for being such a good girl these past few months.
